FAQ

How quickly will I see results on the BeLite plan?

Results vary by individual and medication regimen. Patients prescribed oral medications typically begin losing weight within the first 1–2 weeks, while patients on injectable medications may take over a month to do so while the blood levels of the injectable medication increase. Consistent adherence to diet, exercise, and medication recommendations yields the best outcomes.

Are the medications safe?

Bearing in mind that all medications can produce unwanted side effects, the weight loss medications prescribed by our medical providers are approved for human use and have withstood the test of time as being safe and effective medications, when prescribed and monitored by a licensed medical professional, especially by our providers who have years/decades experience prescribing these medications. Our medical providers tailor each prescription to your health profile and monitor your progress throughout.

What if I don't like exercising?

That’s okay! We’ll help you find forms of exercise that you genuinely enjoy, like swimming, walking, Pilates or dancing, so that staying active feels fun instead of forced.

Do I have to follow a strict meal plan?

Patients work with our nutritional counselors to develop meal plans that work for them. Our “3-3-3” structure offers flexibility while encouraging balance. You’ll eat real, whole foods and receive guidance on meal planning that works with your lifestyle

Can I keep the weight off after the program?

The BeLite program is designed to help you develop sustainable habits. Many of our patients maintain their results long-term, after stopping medication, thanks to what they’ve learned about nutrition, exercise, and mindset. Keeping in mind that obesity is recognized as a chronic relapsing condition, continued treatment with medication is often necessary to prevent weight regain. Several weight loss medications are FDA approved for chronic weight management and BeLite offers a medication-assisted weight maintenance program.
